GB sprinter Imani Lansiquot in World Championships squad for 100m in Qatar

Imani Lansiquot says that she will”grab this chance with both hands” after being added to the 100m group for the World Championships in Qatar.
Even the Sky Sports Scholar fought during the conclusion of summer with a niggling injury and originally was only in the 4x100m relay team.
But from the governing body IAAF, Britain earned an extra spot with an invite as of the days and Dina Asher-Smith winning the 100m Diamond League Final in Brussels.
“I’m over the moon to have been chosen for my next senior person,” Lansiquot said.
“Coming back from injury was hard and pleased with the specific time which I had to be prepared for the World trials.
“It was mentally and physically really difficult, but game is often unpredictable and I have learned so much from this experience.
“Throughout the hardship, to be chosen for the 100m and the 4x100m is a terrific silver liner, and I’m going to grab this opportunity with both hands as I take one step closer in my journey to the Olympics.
“I wish to say a massive thank you for the team at Sky for encouraging me through the challenging times in addition to the good ones – notably mentors Tony Lester and Geoff Shreeves for always having my back!
“Bring the World Championships!”
