Sir Anthony McCoy and Quizical win Pat Smullen race

After coming out on top on Quizical For Cancer Infection Ireland in the Curragh in the Pat Smullen Champions Hurry, sir Anthony McCoy rolled back.

“I said I would never ride in a horse race again and that I supposed it, but I’m glad I did today. You would like to compete against the very best and that is what has made this particular.
“I got to the ideal horse and that is what counts”
The fame of smullen helped produce the star-studded throw for your race.
After being diagnosed with cancer, the former stable jockey of dermot Weld was forced into retirement and he was not able to ride himself, as he is currently undergoing a second round of therapy.
Clearly moved by the event, Smullen said:”I’m really pleased for Sheila and John Lavery who own the horse. John was composed when he got AP to ride the horse to get this result is exactly what everyone wanted. It is absolutely awesome. I’m overcome.
“This isn’t about me. This is all about people that are in this situation and we are out to boost a lot of money and make a huge difference and give people confidence, because it will me.
“What a privilege to participate in what is a terrific business”
