Heather Watson reaches Tianjin Open final after straight-sets win

By storming in the Tianjin Open closing with a success over Veronika Kudermetova, heather Watson continued her impressive form.
The British No 2 revealed no signs of nerves in her first WTA Tour semi-final in over a calendar year, winning 6-1 6-4 in 14 minutes and one hour.
Having also pulled off fine victories over second con Wang Qiang and Magda Linette Watson will now face Rebecca Peterson at the closing after the Swede beat Ons Jabeur.
The 27-year-old, who will return into the top 100 second week, had over three hours to get past Linette at the past eight on Friday.
But there wasnt any fatigue on display as she hurried through the first set in just 25 minutes, then breaking as Kudermetova struggled with her own serve.
Watson moved in the second group and, even though seeing two match points go begging, so she got the work done to accomplish her fourth career WTA.
