Heather Watson reaches Tianjin Open final after straight-sets win

Heather Watson continued her impressive form that week by storming into the Tianjin Open with a success over Veronika Kudermetova.
The No 2 showed no signs of nerves in her first WTA Tour semi-final in over a calendar year, winning 6-1 6-4 in 14 minutes and one hour.
After the Swede conquer Ons Jabeur having also pulled off fine victories over Magda Linette and seed Wang Qiang in this tournament, Watson will face Rebecca Peterson at the final.
The 27-year-old, who will go back into the top 100 next week, needed more than three hours to find past Linette at the last eight on Friday.
But there wasnt any fatigue on display as she hurried through the first set as Kudermetova fought with her serve, breaking.
Watson moved 4-2 forward in the second series and, she got the job done to reach her fourth career WTA despite seeing two game points go begging.
