Heather Watson reaches Tianjin Open final after straight-sets win

By storming in the Tianjin Open with a victory over Veronika Kudermetova heather Watson continued her impressive form.
The British No two revealed no signs of nerves in her first WTA Tour semi-final in more than a calendar year, winning 6-1 6-4 in 1 hour and 14 minutes.
Having pulled off victories over con Wang Qiang and Magda Linette Watson will face Rebecca Peterson at the final after the Swede conquer Ons Jabeur.
Second week the 27-year-old, that will return into the top 100, needed just over three hours to find Linette at the past eight.
But there was no fatigue on show as she hurried through the first set breaking as Kudermetova struggled with her serve.
Watson moved 4-2 ahead in the second group and, even though seeing two game points go begging, she got the work done to achieve on her fourth career WTA final.
