The hosts should have been two goals into the great midway through the first half, but while Clark Robertson scythed down Lynden Gooch to concede a penalty, Aiden McGeady’s tame side-footed effort was easily preserved.
Rotherham could have experienced a spot-kick in their own when Luke O’Nien appeared to handle in the area, and having steadied the ship after their dreadful start, the visitors should really have had an equaliser on the stroke of half-time, only for Matt Crooks to go over from six yards out.
They levelled with 24 minutes left, benefiting from a hesitancy from Ozturk that allowed ownership to be won by Freddie Ladapo.
He teed up Hastie from the box, along with the Millers drilled a driven finish .
